Silicon Floor
A terminal for AI and semiconductor equities, read from the source. Live prices, and fundamentals pulled straight from SEC filings, with every number linked back to the filing it came from.
The idea
The AI and chip trade is the biggest story in the market, and most people read it through an aggregator that has already blurred the numbers. Silicon Floor covers more than 200 AI and semiconductor names, grouped into ten sectors that run from chips and compute to optics, memory, power and cooling, neoclouds, and AI software. It reads them at the source: live prices, and fundamentals taken from the company filings themselves. Every figure links back to the exact filing it came from, so you can check the claim instead of trusting it.
From the source, not an aggregator
Aggregators copy, round, and quietly diverge from what a company actually reported. Here the pipeline goes to the SEC directly and keeps the trail. Financial statements run twelve quarters and six years, restatements included. Ownership is stitched together from the real forms: institutional holdings from 13F, large stakes from 13D and 13G, insiders from Forms 3 to 5, funds and ETFs from N-PORT. Each holding is counted once, and shown as a range when an overlap could still double count it. That last detail is the difference between a number you can lean on and a number that only looks right.
What is inside
- The whole complex in one view, as a sortable table or a heatmap, grouped into ten sectors.
- An AI climate gauge, a fear-and-greed read on where the AI and chip names sit against their trend.
- Financial statements, twelve quarters and six years, with company restatements.
- Big investors quarter by quarter: who is buying, who is selling, who is betting large.
- Short interest and short volume, from FINRA.
- The SEC filing feed as it lands, with insider transactions priced in dollars.
- The AI market over time: market cap, weight, and volume by sector.
- Technical signals with their measured hit rate, a screener, dividends, and AI news.
Plugged into your AI
The whole thing is also a free MCP server. It gives Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client sixteen tools over the same data, each answer carrying the source so the model can cite it rather than guess. No key, no signup. You add siliconfloor.com/mcp and the assistant can pull filings, ownership, and prices on its own. The interesting part for a product person is that the customer here is often not a human. It is a model that needs data it can stand behind.
MCP endpoint: https://siliconfloor.com/mcp. Point any MCP client at that address, no key and no signup, and the sixteen tools are ready to use.
Why it matters
Free to read, no account, no cookie. Not investment advice. The point is narrower and more useful than a prediction: give someone the primary numbers, linked to where they came from, and let them do their own thinking. It is the same instinct as the on-chain work on this site. Go to the primary source, and keep the receipts.
